Custom Clue Board Game

Good morning,

It happened in the Billiard Room, with the candle stick, and Scarlet did it!

Murder mystery and board game fans, this week’s post is for you! Growing up, my go-to board game was Clue. I could play it for hours and loved the suspense of this who-dun-it game. I recently saw on Etsy that storefronts have started offering custom board games, from Monopoly and Jenga to Yahtzee. There were endless customization options for these games.

I had the fun idea to revitalize a Clue board game to make it a collegiate version! My sister is a student at Texas Tech, and I decided to make her a custom game and get crafty. I made a Lubbock edition of Clue! This is a fabulous gift idea for a college student or family member who shares a love of board games and their college town!

What I used:

The original Clue Board Game - all game pieces included

Scrapbook Paper

Paint

Modge Podge

Rubber Cement Glue

Designed Board Game pieces on Canva

This was the mock-up of my design:

This is the final product - Board Game Cover

Board Game + Clue Cards

Lady K gets crafty again! I think I should make an Oklahoma State University - Stillwater version next! :) Thank you for tuning in for this week’s post!

If you have never watched the Clue Movie, it’s a good one to add to your watch list.

Lady K’s One Thing:

My amazing husband and in-laws who helped me build this awesome 3-tier gardening frame. It turned out so great - from Pinterest to reality! Can't wait to watch these plants grow this summer and have garden fresh veggies and cut flowers!

Have a Blessed Week,
