Denim Fashion + July 2024 Recap

Good morning, Dear Friends, 

July has come and gone in a hurry! Time got away from me this week in writing for the blog, but as they say better late than never. This month was filled to the brim with my favorite things: Faith, Fashion, Recipes, and Crafts! 

July Recap: 

• 2 Year Anniversary with my person

• Baking in the Kitchen 

• Made my best loaf of sourdough bread yet Shoutout to my mentors in college, who sent me dried starter and gave me tips on rehydrating it. • Cricut Creations for a wedding and bachelorette trip 

• Growing in Faith with an awesome community 

• Sod Poodle Baseball Game with co-workers and friends (yes, Amarillo is home to the Sod Poodles minor league baseball team, and we are very proud of our prairie dogs)

• Porch Sitting and Sipping 

• Reading Books on the Patio 

As you can see, my heart is full and ready for all that August has in store! 

I hope July treated you well and that you are looking forward to a new month to learn, grow, and spend time with those you love. 

Thank you, Jesus, for the gift of friendship! Friends who know your most authentic self, support you in your passions, and cheer you on in every season of life are truly the best. In my book, that kind of dear friend is a SFL (sister for life). So, of course, when a loyal and true SFL gifts you the coolest patches in the world…what does Lady K do? I love this short sleeve denim jacket! The puff sleeves are IT. Its versatile, cool, and can be dressed up or down. I can wear this over summery dresses at church, layered with America’s Brightest Orange at a Football Game, or out on the town for a date night. 

Lady K’s One Thing: 

The Lord is in everything, even the mundane tasks. I refreshed the area above my kitchen sink and surprisingly, this has made doing the dishes a little happier and fun. An opportunity to be grateful for food on the table and dishes to wash.
