Give A Girl The Right Boots
Good Tuesday Morning,
There are moments in life when your “tribe” knows you better than you know yourself. Several years ago, I was gifted 2 of the same cute signs (1 from my Mom and 1 from close family friends). I love the message on the sign, “Give a girl the right boots, and she can conquer the world.” I keep a sign in my office where I read that message every day.
Sometimes we feel inadequate. Sometimes we are our own worst critic. Sometimes life knocks us down, and we have to be pulled up by our bootstraps to carry on. Life takes effort, and I find that appreciating accessories that make us feel beautiful can help us put our best foot forward…even when we don’t feel like it. So, this message is for you - what makes you smile and twirl in front of the mirror?
I’m not preaching modern-day beauty standards that leave you empty and in constant competition to look your best. I’m talking about how fashion can elevate women to feel good and spread confidence. For me, pulling on a trusty pair of boots gives me a boost of confidence to tackle the day. Here’s a little homework for you - go dig through your closet, jewelry box, or shoe storage and find that “one thing” you love and plan to wear it once this week. You might be surprised at how long it’s been since you’ve put it on and how great you feel tackling whatever might come your way!

These are the most comfortable ankle booties I have ever owned. I have a pair in brown and in black. Extremely versatile to wear with many different outfits.

I LOVE my Lane boots. I got these as a Christmas gift (I’m guessing 2013), and they have held up amazingly! You can shop for a similar pair at the link above.
