Hello, I am so excited you are here!

My name is Katherine, aka Lady K, and the only reason you are reading this blog post today is that after a 40-day Lenten Journey – I have decided to embark on a fun new project! Through prayer and petition, I have decided to call this journey Lady K Creative, a personal blog celebrating my loves and creative passions.

Why Lady K Creative? A dear family friend kindly dubbed the name Lady K, and the name has stuck ever since (Thanks, Toots)! I found the name to be oh-so-fitting for this project. It speaks to the fact that I tend to be an “old soul” who appreciates the little things in life.

Have you been feeling lost in your job, school, or life in general? That’s truly what this blog is all about, a diary of sorts documenting the activities that fulfill me. If the simplicity of sharing my ideas and interests deposits new ideas and encourages YOU to focus on the roots of what fills your cup – I’ll consider it a success. (Big goal, I know – but I have always been an optimistic gal!)

I aim to share glimpses of the little things that bring me joy. Diving right in here, I am sharing a list of my “Loves.” I hope to make my “list of loves” a relevant series throughout every season.

What is a "One Thing"?

The Abiding Together Podcast Abiding Together (abidingtogetherpodcast.com) has been sharing the power of personal testimony and tips for walking with Christ for 12 podcast seasons! Their ministry through the podcast is most certainly alive and bringing goodness to the Church. I have listened actively to their show since 2019 and admire their work. Heather, Sr. Miriam, and Michele have always shared their “One Thing” at the conclusion of every podcast episode. The resources listed as their “One Thing” always make me smile and spark my mind with the desire to learn more. It is a perfect fit to incorporate my One Thing for the week in my writing!

My first enewton bracelet was given to me by my mother-in-law to celebrate my Husband, and I’s engagement back in October of 2021! Since then, I have added (or been gifted) 3 additional bracelet strands, which are my go-to’s for daily wear! The quality is unmatched – the bracelet itself never stretches out or tarnishes.
